Overview & Licensing – Is It a Safe Choice?

Mr Green has been around since 2007 and quickly built a reputation for a sleek design and solid game library. For Irish players the most important reassurance is the licence: the casino operates under a Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) licence and is also regulated by the UK Gambling Commission. Those bodies enforce strict checks on fairness, data protection and anti‑money‑laundering measures.

Security‑wise the site uses 128‑bit SSL encryption, the same level banks use for online banking. Your personal details and banking data are stored in isolated servers, making hacking attempts highly unlikely. In short, the combination of reputable licensing and modern encryption means you can play with confidence.

Registration & Verification – Getting Started

Signing up at Mr Green is a fairly quick process. You’ll need a valid e‑mail address, a password, and to confirm your age (you must be 18+). After you submit the form you receive a verification e‑mail – click the link inside and you’re in the lobby.

When you decide to withdraw winnings, the casino will ask for a few identity documents – a photo ID, proof of address and sometimes a payment‑method verification. This KYC step can feel a bit tedious, but it’s mandatory for the MGA licence and helps keep fraud out of the system.

Bonuses and Promotions – What’s on the Table?

The welcome package at Mr Green is split into three parts: a deposit match bonus, free spins and a cash‑back boost on your first week of play. The headline figure is a 100 % match up to €100, plus 50 free spins on a popular slot. Wagering requirements sit at 30× the bonus amount, which is fairly standard for Irish online casinos.

Beyond the welcome deal, regular players can tap into weekly reloads, a loyalty club that rewards points for every €10 wagered, and occasional tournament entries. All promotions are listed in the “Promotions” tab and you can filter them by “Casino” or “Live” to see what fits your style.

Game Selection – Slots, Live Casino & More

Mr Green’s game library runs on leading providers such as NetEnt, Microgaming, Evolution and Play’n GO. You’ll find over 2,000 titles, ranging from low‑volatility slots with a 96 % RTP to high‑risk progressive jackpots that can reach six figures.

The live casino section is powered by Evolution and offers classic tables – blackjack, roulette, baccarat – plus a few novelty games like Dream Catcher. The live streams run in HD, and you can chat with dealers in real time, which adds a nice social touch for beginners who miss the feel of a brick‑and‑mortar venue.

Payment Methods & Withdrawal Speed

Irish players have a decent range of deposit options: Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Skrill, Trustly and the good old bank transfer. Most deposits are processed instantly, letting you start playing within seconds of confirming the payment.

When it comes to cashing out, the same methods apply, but the speed varies. E‑wallets like PayPal and Skrill usually deliver funds within 24 hours, while card withdrawals can take 2‑5 business days. Bank transfers are the slowest, often needing up to 7 days. All withdrawals are subject to the standard verification checks mentioned earlier.

Mobile Experience & App – Play on the Go

Mr Green’s mobile site is fully responsive and works smoothly on both Android and iOS devices. The layout mirrors the desktop lobby, so you can switch between slots, live casino and sports betting without missing a beat.

If you prefer a dedicated app, it’s available in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The app loads faster than the browser version, offers push notifications for new promotions, and supports fingerprint authentication for quick, secure logins. Battery usage is modest, making it a good companion for longer sessions on a commute.

Customer Support & Responsible Gambling

Support is reachable 24/7 via live chat and email. The chat window typically answers within a minute, and the email team promises a response within 12 hours. There’s also a comprehensive FAQ covering everything from bonus terms to KYC documentation.

Mr Green takes responsible gambling seriously. Tools such as deposit limits, loss limits, session timers and a self‑exclusion option are tucked away in the “Responsible Gaming” centre. If you feel you need extra help, the site links to the Irish GambleAware service and provides direct contact numbers.
